Water Day

Yesterday was water day at Nathaniel's school. The teachers were unsure as to if the babies' class would even want to go out and do it. However, they decided to try. Nathaniel was the only baby who wanted to get into the blow-up pool. He also wanted to do the big water slide, but Ms. Kerri decided that it was too high for him. So he splashed and had a grand time. Then the toddler class came out and Nathaniel played in the water with them. Ms. Kerri told Nathaniel it was time to leave, and she tried to grab him, and he ran to the other side of the pool. This happened several times. Finally she grabs Nathaniel and takes him inside for their snack. As she walks through the door, Nathaniel makes a last-ditch effort and grabs a hold of the door frame with both hands and grunts (voicing his opinion that he wants to stay). So she had to pry my son's hands off the door . . . .

Anyways, we'll do our swimming class again this summer. Should be interesting to see how much he has improved.
