I'm so happy that all 5 of us, plus Mimi and Granddad were able to celebrate Joel's 3rd birthday together at the hospital. We made it up there mid-morning. We brought Joel some of his gifts plus the child life specialist at the hospital brought Seth and Joel some toys. They each got a different Play-doh ice cream set, which they really loved. I think the excitement of having everyone in the room was a bit much for Joel. So I stayed with Seth and Joel while everyone else went to grab lunch at Chick-fil-A. I plopped them in bed together and got these precious pictures together. Joel asked Seth to hold his hand.
