Summer Vacation

We decided to head to the mountains for our summer vacation - a welcome change from the heat we've been having. Enjoyed a great visit in Amarillo as well.

Had to enjoy a meal at Rosa's while we were there. We miss Rosa's!

Grandpa entertaining Nathaniel while we ate.

We enjoyed a fun trip to the swimming pool while we were there. Nathaniel loved the kiddie area.

 Checking out the beach ball.

This fountain was really entertaining. He had a very serious look while watching it.

 So much fun!

I took him in the big kid's area for a bit.

Time for a break and a diaper change.

 Such a ham!

In Red River, NM. Eating breakfast the first morning.

Will got some good hummingbird shots.

As Mom, Nathaniel and I hung out in the cabin, Aunt Hillary and Uncle Shelby drove by, on mopeds!

Nathaniel and Grammy in the cabin. Wearing the new hat we bought for him.

He loved all of the time Grammy spent holding him.

Dad and Grandpa went off-roading up to Greenie peak. Check out the view up there!

 Gorgeous . . . wish I was there too!

But we had lots of fun playing in the cabin.

 Cutie!

Annie was relaxing during the vacation as well.

Playing some mini-golf

Nathaniel loved his Aunt Hillary time

Breakfast at Old Tymer's before we left . . . can you see the size of the pancakes?

This is my blueberry pancake. Will and I worked on it together.

View of the ski area from our cabin

 Another view of Red River

Shot on the way out of town

 Taking a nap with Grandpa

 They were watching golf together

What a good vacation!!

  1. Looks like y'all had a fabulous time, and I am so glad. The mountains are so renewing, I love spending time there. I know what you mean about Rosa's, we love it so much! I have great news on that front: we found a Rosa's not 15 minutes from the house, and they are building another one down the road! We'll definitely have to go next time y'all visit.

Nathaniel is getting so big, and he is SO CUTE! I am just in love!

Have a great week, love y'all!
