Fourth of July

We decided to have a cook-out for the 4th, and I'm so glad that we did. The rain stopped and we had great weather. I think our yard is perfect for events like this, just hanging out under the tree with friends . . . and the giant mosquitoes had not yet made their debut, so we weren't eaten alive. Thanks again to Keith for the pictures - we were so busy with everything we didn't have a chance to get any shots.

Konrad enjoying some Grandmother time

Love this shot looking down at the patio from the party

Sonya getting Berit set up to chow down

Great shot of the Beavers

I brought Nathaniel inside to feed him some baby food and while I worked on some stuff in the kitchen Berit was sweet enough to play with him on his mat

Group Shot

The cows made an appearance

Love this shot of Brooklyn chowing down on watermelon

Nathaniel - outside before his bath. Double-fisting it.

The kids playing

Enjoying a few minutes of sitting down together

Thanks to all of our friends for coming over and celebrating America with us.
