I tried to enjoy every day that was Nathaniel was 3. I teased him a lot and told him the had to stop growing and couldn't have any more birthdays, but he didn't listen. He turned 4. :)
For quite a while Nathaniel had been asking to ride a Ferris wheel. I have no idea where this came from. But we took him to ride one for his birthday, and let him ride some of the other rides as well.
Happy Birthday to my wonderful 4-year old! You make me smile and laugh every day. You fill me with joy. I can't wait to see what this year brings.

Midland
Last leg of our trip was to Midland. Nathaniel loved spending time with his cousins. As soon as we arrived Christmas night, we got to enjoy a family meal and open presents.
And we did some boot shopping while we were in Midland. Pops had a pair that was similar to what Nathaniel picked out. I love these pictures.
We had lots of fun playing in the park with cousins.
He loved making a gingerbread house with Nina.
Just adorable.
More Christmas Pics
More Amarillo pictures. Coloring with Mimi in the first picture and then playing in the snow.
Snowball fight!
Red icing from the cookies.
Gingerbread Train and Presents
Here we are decorating a gingerbread train. Nathaniel was very intent on his work, and used every last piece of candy. Christmas Eve night we unwrapped presents.
Trying out the new scooter.
