Two Year Pictures in Chair

I have to admit, these were hard to take for 2 reasons. One, I had to face the fact that he was turning two. Second, it was difficult to keep him still. Anyways, here you go. If this first picture doesn't say "two-year old" I don't know what does.

I ended with my favorite one . . . such a beautiful boy.
It's been a great second year, we have been very blessed with Nathaniel.

And for grins, click here to see his shots from almost a year ago. Hard to believe the difference!

Happy Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is turning 2 . . . time has flown by. Here he is opening his presents from us on his birthday morning.

Not my best-looking cake, I admit. But it was tasty.

And a few days later, a special birthday present that came in the mail from Uncle Les . . .

You can tell he's very excited, he's been playing with it a lot.

Aunt Hillary and Uncle Shelby

Found these cute pics from our other camera, and decided to add on here. This is Nathaniel with Aunt Hillary and Uncle Shelby over the holidays. He is still talking about them and how he wants to hug them . . .

Playing in the Snow

The day after Christmas we got up and went to play in the snow . . .

A creative use of an old political sign . . .

Sledding! He could even hold on.

A snow dragon that a neighbor of my parents built . . . pretty cool!

Decorating some Christmas cookies with Mimi and Aunt Hillary.

Christmas Day in Amarillo

We left Midland Christmas Day after lunch and arrived in Amarillo by dinnertime. Biggest surprise, it snowed on us most of the way there, and there was another snow storm in Amarillo! White Christmas part 2. We got to open gifts before dinner.

Christmas Eve in Midland

What a wonderful Christmas. We took our annual West Texas Tour. First stop was Midland, and as soon as we got there it started snowing. Yes, we had a white Christmas! Nathaniel had lots of fun with cousin Laney, as you can see.

First time in snow!

Reading a book with Nana

I love Tate's expression in this picture.

Ready to open presents.

It snowed all night long.

Christmas morning.

Baking gingerbread cookies. One of the many fun activities that Nana had planned.

I wish these hadn't turned out quite so blurry. Anyways, good cousin picture. If only we'd had all of the cousins there! We missed Brad and Zach.
