August

Although we didn't have many plans over the summer it sure seemed to go quickly.

Fun week with Mimi and Granddad the week before school started while Will was out of town

Mimi gave them their bears made out of Joel's clothes
Nathaniel named his "Joel Bear Jr." since he already sleeps with a brown bear named "Joel Bear"

August 31 - getting mesenchymal cells - experimental treatment.
Seth had to get a bone marrow biopsy done before he could receive the cells, so we did that on the 28th of August. We didn't get the results of the biopsy until the morning of the 31st. They called to say everything was good, could we be there in 2 hours? So 2 days the last week of August we were at clinic ALL DAY. It was a really long week.

Ohio Trip

Seth and I were sent to the hospital on November 21, 2016. Since that time, no one in our family was able to travel. Seth still wasn't well enough to travel during the summer of 2018, but we decided to plan a trip for Nathaniel to see his cousins in Ohio. Just Will would travel with Nathaniel. Seth and I stayed at home and Mimi came for a visit, in case something happened and I needed to take Seth to the hospital.

Nathaniel was nervous about flying and traveling. He hadn't been able to go anywhere in over 2 years. Thankfully he and Will had a fantastic time. Below are their pictures.
