The Waffle Bus

We were playing with our friend Maren, and found out that one of the food trucks in Houston (that has been featured on the Food Network) was going to be close to us. We decided to go for lunch, and it was fun. Probably the only time my son will ever have a strawberry-chocolate waffle for lunch. :) The friend chicken waffle was mine.

Summer Time

I am really behind on some pictures, but here are some fun things we have done lately. First of all, coloring and arts and crafts have been huge this summer. We're just drawing here, and the squirrel hat was made at church but it's fun to wear.

We went to a Kabuki place for the first time ever to celebrate a friend's baptism. Look who can use chopsticks!

With Olivia and Isabella

We don't eat out a lot, so I guess we take pictures when we do. This is the soft serve ice cream all over his face.

We do gymnastics once a week during the summer. He LOVES it.

Dirt all over her nose. It's rained a lot.

Playing with some train stickers was a fun activity during the rain.

We made a cake for Daddy for Mommy and Daddy's anniversary with fresh blueberries. Nathaniel loves to bake.

A good friend gave him these train overalls . . . I think his expression says it all.

And last a little indoor playing at McDonald's with a friend . . . indoor playing is all you can do in this heat for now.

Vacation Fun

Wish we were still on vacation . . . but regardless here are some fun shots from our trip. Nathaniel had a great time watering in the garden.

Here we are entertaining ourselves at dinner one night.

Discovery Center with Aunt Hill and Mimi.

At Wonderland - he was a little tired but still had a blast.

We always have such a good time, and it was a great trip.

Will and Natalie mini-vacation

Will and I went on our first trip by ourselves. Nathaniel had a great time staying with Mimi and Granddad and Aunt Hill and Uncle Shelby. Here are some shots from when Will and I went to the mountains (we were gone 2 nights).

View about halfway up of our 10 mile hike.

And back at home. I think everyone was a little tired. :)
