Happy Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for this year! We have a beautiful, healthy family and we are so grateful.

A placemat Nathaniel made at school

His school project - to disguise a turkey. He chose to dress his turkey up as a Texas Tech football player. His idea, not ours!

We went to our friend Barb's for Thanksgiving. She is so sweet, she let us come eat lunch with her family and they did all of the work and cooked all of the food. We had a great time.

Everyone played play-doh with Nathaniel after lunch.

Time to head home - everyone was tired.

We are so thankful for our family and friends!

Pregnancy - Joel & Seth

I was blessed to have a wonderful, healthy pregnancy with Seth and Joel. God has been so good to us. The nausea was not too bad, and I was never on full bed rest. I just had to take it easy during the pregnancy. Here are some of the pregnancy pictures.

A special thank you to our friends and family who helped us out during the pregnancy. It takes a village, and we are grateful for you!

Halloween

Nathaniel came up with his costume, on his own, quite a bit before Halloween.  He wanted to be a ghost, so Will made him a traditional, Charlie Brown style ghost costume. Here he is at the school costume parade.

I took Nathaniel to pick out pumpkins a couple of weeks before Halloween at our favorite pumpkin patch.

I was able to make it to Nathaniel's school Halloween party where we did a craft and ate snacks.

Here are pumpkin patch pictures they took at Nathaniel's school.

And lastly one of the little guys. We are working on catching up on our posts!

First Day of School

The first day of school arrived Tuesday! I wish I had better pictures, but Nathaniel was too impatient to pose. Here's a few.

He sat down by his friend Cassidy on the first day. The second day the teacher told me they couldn't sit at a table together because they talked the whole first day. The second day they got their assigned seats at tables.

The Borcks sent Nathaniel a fruit basket for his first day of school. He was super excited when they delivered it to us.

It didn't last very long. We love fruit!

Dogs

I haven't posted any good pictures of the dogs in a while, so thought I would post some. We received some sad news last week. Otis was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We are thankful we have had 12 good years with him and Annie. We're trying to enjoy each day we have with the dogs.

Annie can't resist a clean load of laundry.

We've told Nathaniel Otis is sick, but that's all we've told him. I guess he's heard us talk about cancer, because Will said one night before bed Nathaniel prayed that Otis wouldn't have the "cancers."

Last Days of Summer

My mom came to help out the last couple of weeks of summer. Here are some shots from when she was here.

They went to a place full of trampolines for kids and Nathaniel had a great time.
