Poor Nathaniel felt crummy on Halloween and had a fever. Plus it was raining, so we just stayed indoors. I will let him and the little boys dress up at some point and take a picture, but for now I'll just post this picture of Nathaniel feeling crummy.
I got to stay home from church with Nathaniel the next morning. He and I played games and had the house to ourself on a rainy morning. I think it's the longest time we've had together at the house since the babies have been born! It was a blast.

Halloween
Nathaniel came up with his costume, on his own, quite a bit before Halloween. He wanted to be a ghost, so Will made him a traditional, Charlie Brown style ghost costume. Here he is at the school costume parade.
I took Nathaniel to pick out pumpkins a couple of weeks before Halloween at our favorite pumpkin patch.
I was able to make it to Nathaniel's school Halloween party where we did a craft and ate snacks.

Pumpkin Pictures
I know these are late, but I have a pile of photos that aren't digital and I have to scan in. These are his pumpkin pictures with his class at school.
Here's a link to last year's pumpkin photos. They're such big kids this year!

A few more Halloween pics
Had to put these in, a couple shots of Nathaniel and his good buddies on Halloween.
Otis had to lick Izzy's face and get in the picture.

Today he had the costume parade at school. Here are a few shots in their classroom before the parade.

And now for the class party. They got to decorate their own cookies.
Every student has to bring something to put on the color posters each month. Bet you can't guess which one was Nathaniel's.

Festivals and Fun
Sunday night we went to the fall festival at Nathaniel's school with some of his friends. As you can tell, we are a train engineer this year. Here are my attempts at getting a group shot.
The fort he built for Otis the other day.
And it's time to eat dinner on the patio again . . . such a beautiful evening.
Here we are on the way to a Halloween/Birthday party with friends. We did not travel in his costume because I was afraid he would get too hot.
Here he is playing at the park.

Big Halloween Post
Some more Halloween shots. Last weekend when I went to workout at the YMCA they were having a fall festival. We joined in the fun. The best parts were the balloon sword and the monster hand.

Our finished pumpkins.
Nathaniel's finished pumpkin. I only helped with the eyes and mouth.
These are before we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. I wanted one of me and my sweet boy, but he wasn't interested in posing. Obviously.
Happy Halloween from the Deckers!
