Little Boys' Zoo Trip

We got to take the little boys to the zoo . . . and had so much fun. The weather was perfect - a nice cool fall morning.

Zoo Time

We had a great trip to see Aunt Hill, Uncle Shelby, and my parents for Thanksgiving. I don't know how I didn't get any pictures of the boys with Aunt Hill and Uncle Shelby. I will have to fix that for next time. We all went to the zoo and had a fantastic time. Seth and Joel loved getting to walk to the park in Aunt Hill's neighborhood.

Zoo trip

A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo with our friends the Illgs. Here are just a few shots.

Petting zoo

Over spring break they had a free petting zoo at the library so we had to go check it out. Mimi even bought some food, so the first few pictures are Nathaniel feeding the donkey.

Zoo Trip before School Started

The Friday before school and our Bible study started, I took Nathaniel for a fun morning at the zoo. Yes, it was still way too hot, but we got there right when they opened and were prepared to sweat and drink a lot of water. It was worth it. Less crowds for sure. Oh, and I had a free coupon, so we had to go.

Last of all, I let him ride the train. We haven't done it before.
This was his face when he saw the train coming. Priceless.

And I enjoyed the train ride, but my favorite part was that we held hands almost the whole time. It's these tender moments that I just love about being a mom. I know, I had to take a picture of it, because I know it won't last forever.
