First Haircut

This morning was the little boys' first haircut. Seth is up first (in the blue pjs). Even though blue isn't normally Seth's color, the yellow truck pjs Joel is wearing are his absolute favorite. He'll grab them right out of the laundry and want to wear them.

I was sad to see the beautiful curls go . . . but thankfully their hair is still curly, just shorter. It was a good thing that my parents were there to help us collect their curls and take pictures. Nathaniel was supervising his brothers' hair cuts. I think we overwhelmed the small hair salon.

Well, the first haircuts are over. I looked back at Nathaniel's first haircut and it seems like another lifetime ago. I didn't recognize myself, I looked so much younger and much more rested. Even though it's usually crazier now, we have a lot more fun!

Week of Fun

We got to see Mimi and Granddad this week. As always, it was a wonderful visit and flew by.

Visit with Pops

We were so happy to have Pops come visit at the beginning of March. The boys were so excited to see him. Seth and Joel both liked to hop up in his lap, when they got the chance (as you can see in the picture at the bottom).

Pops and the Boys

Pops came to visit the weekend before last. We really enjoyed having him here, and I'm glad we got a shot of him with all 3 boys!

Trip to Visit Family

We made it to visit my family. I wasn't prepared to drive with the little boys, so my parents got us airline tickets to fly. In the first picture we are on the bus from the parking garage to the airport. I tried to get the little boys who are in the stroller on the bus, but I didn't get them in the shot. The flight actually went much better than I expected. Will and I each held a baby and Nathaniel sat next to me. We couldn't sit on the same row, because there weren't enough oxygen masks for all of us. The flights were on time (a blessing) and everyone was fairly happy.

I am sad I missed out on Nathaniel's first trip to the canyon, but I am sure there will be many more.

I got to take Nathaniel out for ice cream (just the 2 of us)!
