Early December Catch-up

The second week of December, Will was picked for a prominent jury trial and was downtown for a week. It was my first week to get Nathaniel ready and to school each day (with the babies too, of course). We were a little late, but overall I think it was a success. Mimi came the 3rd week of December, and we were ready to have some help! Everyone had a great time (and quite a few naps were taken). Nathaniel even got to take Mimi to his school Christmas party. Apparently he consumed muffins, donut holes and lots of fruit. There is one picture below where he is just looking longingly at the food table. He has grown quite a bit taller, so I guess some fuel is needed. :)

These are some pictures from early December. I get to have some alone time with these cuties while big brother is at school. I try to hold each one and give each one some attention. Joel first two pictures, then next three pics Seth.

Reading and Riding

The week of Thanksgiving this year, Nathaniel started riding his big boy bike! No training wheels. Will had a few days off of work, the weather was nice, and that's all it took!

Around the same time, Nathaniel started reading on his own. We were pretty blown away, because we haven't really worked with him. He's writing letters at school, and he knows what letters words start with and end with, and I guess it just clicked. He's a reading machine now. I wish I could slow him down . . . he's growing up so fast. We're so proud of him.

Seth and Joel - Pictures around 2 months

Here are some from the camera that I needed to add - they were taken around (or a little before) 2 months. These are some of the first pictures of the boys smiling! I think they looked pretty distinct at this point, and then have started to look more and more identical as they have gotten older. (First set of pics is Joel, second set Seth).

We made it the first two months! Seth and Joel are doing great. At their 2 month appointment, they weighed 12 pounds and were both 23" long. It is great that Seth has caught up and they are the same size.

Cutie Pies

I am still behind on some pictures, but my friend Ginny was helping me today and took some great shots of these cutie pies. Will has been serving on jury duty this week for a big trial and was leaving early and getting home late in the evening. I'm grateful to my friends for helping!

We are getting sweet smiles every day, but this may be the first picture of them both smiling!
