Picnics and Camping

Unfortunately this is not the real thing, but it's been fun to watch Nathaniel pretend that he is on a picnic with his friends. Sometimes I picnic with them. One time we had chocolate cookies, chocolate muffins and something else chocolate (all pretend, but what Nathaniel said we would eat). . . my kind of picnic!

And a few days later - he pretended he was going camping. 

It's so much fun to watch and be a part of the imaginary play. 

Also new, he keeps asking me what something says when he sees something with words. "Mommy, what does this say?"
