Guess Daddy wore him out! And here's a picture from a recent camping trip. Nathaniel and his buddy Samir doing a pyramid during the scavenger hunt. Fun times!

Hiking and Camping Fun
I was out of town one weekend, so Will took Nathaniel hiking at one of our parks. They saw raccoon and bird tracks. Nathaniel was impressed with his own tracks as well.

Thanksgiving and Camping
We had a non-traditional Thanksgiving lunch this year. Our good friends the Borcks came over and we cooked brisket tacos. Nathaniel was a little upset about not having turkey and ham, but I think he just wanted it because they had talked about it so much at school. They had a Thanksgiving feast at school and he didn't eat the turkey or ham, so I had no guilt. And he was totally happy with our lunch. After lunch we decorated our Christmas tree.

He crashed from all the Thanksgiving fun on the way to the campsite
Looking at some purple berries.
I tried to get a view of the lake, it didn't show up too well.
Goofballs. :)

We did a 4-mile hike Saturday morning. The whole way back from the spillway Nathaniel held his Daddy's hand and kept walking. He had a great time and didn't even complain of being tired.
And we were just a little tired after camping. :)

Camping
Spring break was so fantastic. Yes, I've had way too many posts about this week. But it was a blast. I really think that this has been the only time since I've known Will that we've both had a spring break off together. By "off" I mean we were both at home. Not that we weren't working. :) Will did put in one day at the office.
To top off a fabulous week, we went camping with some friends from our church. We took up a whole circular area at the park. Several of Nathaniel's friends from his Bible class were there, and he had a terrific time. For some reason these uploaded in the opposite order that I intended, so the beginning pictures were actually at the end of our trip.
Campfire! Nathaniel loved s'mores.

Breakfast on our last morning. Someone is a little grumpy.

Inside the nature center there were all kinds of creatures. I took pictures of the boys touching all of them. Baby alligator first.
He has no fear.
This one totally creeped me out.

This is the view as we were driving in. It was pretty crowded.
Beautiful trees.
I think the trip was a success . . . can't wait to go again.
