Nathaniel brought home his art from school. The top one is a piece he did at home. It was a page from his doodle pad which just had the eyes. He drew off of the faces and expressions on there. I love to see his creativity!

More Writing Samples
You may get tired of seeing Nathaniel's Kindergarten work . . . but I can't get enough. Look at the bottom of the first page - yes, it says "I love my mommy." This made my day.

Nathaniel's Work
Nathaniel continues to do a great job at school. He is happy and works hard! I don't care that much about his worksheets, but the art he does on the back is fabulous. His teacher encourages him to sound out words and spell them on his own. We've also had several projects. The first one is his Veteran's Day project, which he did about Pops. This is a picture I took of his project hanging on the wall in the hallway at school.
I won't tell you how many times I had to pull Joel off the Lego table yesterday. I thought taking the table part off would stop him from climbing but as you can see it didn't. Seth cheering him on in the background.

Creativity
Nathaniel is so creative . . . he has Will's mechanical aptitude, but he is also artistic like me. Here are some awesome things he has made recently. The first one is one of my favorites - it is Nathaniel and Mommy. So sweet.
He drew the dinosaurs on our kitchen window with some erasable markers. I put a piece of paper behind them to get a picture. The dinosaurs have party horns in their mouths. Guess it is a dino party!
This is a Lego giraffe. He came up with the idea all on his own.
A creative place to hide during hide-and-seek

Art and Animals
Lately Nathaniel has been playing a lot with his stuffed animals. I can't believe next year he'll be at Kindergarten, and not have much time left for playing. This is a picture of all of his animals asleep. We had to whisper while his animals slept. I guess he's used to being quiet while the babies sleep. :)
He even let the little boys play with his animals too.
I love the faces on the people he draws. They are so expressive. I hope he continues to enjoy art.
This was Nathaniel, Daddy and Mommy going for a walk.
He was pleased with the whiskers on the Cat in the Hat.
We received some tinker toys from a friend whose son is too old for them. This is a fork and a plate of beans.
This is a pancake tower.
Love this boy and his creativity!
